Sonnybrier and Rivendell Farms, Elma, Washington.

Elma is a very small community, 30 miles west of Olympia, Washington on the Ocean Beach Highway. One and a half hours from Seattle, Elma features the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds, host to several miniature horse shows for the AMHA and AMHR local clubs.

We have been in the horse business for thirty years. Having owned Quarter Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds and Shetlands, we discovered the joys and benefits of the Miniature Horse about twenty years ago and have been actively working with this breed since 1996.

The focus of Sonnybrier and Rivendell Farm's horse program is driving horses. We feel that all of our broodstock should prove themselves in the performance arena before going on to the breeding shed. With that in mind, all but one of our horses is trained to drive and our potential brood mares are winning in driving competition as well as halter.
